Checkered Past MMA is an MMA gym situated in Springfield, Oregon. Their mission is not just to teach fighting techniques, but also to instill in their students good decision-making skills and personal accountability. They believe in the value of giving back to their community through various actions, including neighborhood cleanups, Christmas toy drives, and free seminars for at-risk youth.
About this project
process
Our team created a brand story for Checkered Past Gym to raise awareness about the gym and attract the right kind of students. The approach we took involved dynamic storytelling techniques which included interviewing individuals, filming cinematic sequences, and showcasing students training and competing in the ring.
Our favorite part
SIMON: Seeing the fighters of all ages have a great time training together!
