Book Reading Event Video
Ophelia's Place empowers and supports girls ages 10-18 through holistic programs that promote mental, emotional, and physical well-being, facilitated by collaborations with schools, community organizations, and local leaders. In April of 2024, they welcomed a former staff member for a book reading and Q&A for her debut novel, Just Another Epic Love Poem.

Our team fell in love with the mission of Ophelia’s Place when we were introduced to their former development director, Jennifer Monegan, at an NAO conference in 2024 (now the Director of Membership, Development, & Communications at NAO).
The team at OP reached out to us to see if we would be available for an event coverage video. We were more than happy to help! Collaborating with local videographer, Donovan Snider, we collected event coverage, interviews with Parisa Akhbari, and b-roll to capture the magic of the evening.
In total, Octavus Media provided the book reading video, in addition to two highlight videos for use on social media.

CAT: Experiencing the cozy and intimate atmosphere that Ophelia’s Place has created…and learning about their impact through the eyes of a former employee, staff, parents, and girls.
