Client Background
Community Energy Project (CEP) is a Portland-based organization focused on providing energy home retrofits and sustainability education. They play a crucial role in assisting minority and underserved communities by delivering practical home energy solutions while fighting the impacts of climate change.

Our Approach
Our team executed multiple video shoots, conducted in-depth interviews with staff and clients, and integrated custom graphics to craft a compelling narrative that highlights CEP’s transformative impact.
About the Project
CEP partnered with Octavus Media to create video content that educates and inspires. Our team developed two impact videos and a series of animated explainer videos that showcase energy-efficient heating systems and share success stories from the community. These videos were designed to amplify CEP’s mission among stakeholders, donors, and community partners.

From the client...
"Octavus Media has gone above and beyond to demonstrate their support of our organization – attending and contributing as a sponsor to our annual spring fundraiser. Their creativity and technical expertise brought our initiatives to life, showcasing not just the challenges but also the hope and resilience within our community. The videos they produced have been invaluable in increasing awareness of our free services and engagement with the members of our community. Moreover, the entire Octavus Media team has been a joy to work with — professional, responsive, and committed to excellence. They managed the project with efficiency and flexibility, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.
We highly recommend Octavus Media for any organization looking to create impactful and meaningful visual storytelling. Their work has significantly amplified our voice and mission, and we are excited about the current and future projects we will collaborate on."
